What is Open Access Colonoscopy?

We at Audubon GI Associates are continuously striving to increase our community's awareness and knowledge of colon cancer. We have implemented an Open Access Colonoscopy program that helps to make the process of scheduling a colonoscopy easier for you. If you are a healthy person, over the age of 50 with NO gastrointestinal symptoms, all you need to do is:

  • Obtain one of our Open Access information packets from your primary physician's office, our office or download the pdf file at the bottom of this page
  • Fill out the packet and mail or drop off the document to our office at the Atkinson Park Building 1413 N. Elm Street Suite 105, Henderson, KY
  • We will schedule the colonoscopy and review the prep and instructions with you when you drop off the packet
  • If you mail the packet, we will contact you, schedule the colonoscopy and review the prep and instructions with you over the telephone
  • We will review the results of the colonoscopy with you after the procedure and also mail you and your primary physician a letter with our findings and recommendations regarding your next procedure

We hope this Open Access Colonoscopy program makes screening for colon cancer easier for you. Colon cancer can be a preventable disease with the right knowledge and evaluation.
